Welcome To West End House Gallery

Open 10am to 6pm, Thursday to Sunday, West End House Gallery is in the centre of the beautiful village of Smarden in Kent.

In addition to art, the gallery sells a beautiful range of competitively priced greeting cards and fridge magnets, many with images of Smarden, or showing the work of exhibiting artists.

Exhibitions

Each month, April to Christmas, there is a new and very different exhibition: with the work of local and international artists shown. Paintings, sculpture, ceramics, photography and textiles have been featured so far, with many local people and visitors coming in to browse and enjoy the wide variety of items. The artwork displayed is often also for sale and you may well find that special item for your house or garden or the ideal present for a friend.

Exhibiting artists are encouraged to attend the gallery for periods during each month, so you may have the chance to meet and discuss their work with them.

Please call in to discuss your needs for picture framing or artwork hire, either for ad hoc special occasions, or for more long-term display in offices and homes. We can assist with arranging commissions of work, including sculptures, ceramics and portraits of people, animals or buildings. We have contacts with a number of excellent sculptors, painters and portrait artists, each with different styles.
