Caroline Homfray, embroiderer

I design and make a completely unique range of jewellery in vibrant colours and inspired by a variety of sources, especially the natural world. I try to capture the freshness and delicacy of plants, fixed in a form that is durable and light. These flowers are everlasting.

The designs are embroidered onto a dissolvable material, which melts away in hot water, leaving the interlocking threads. These embroidered elements are then strung together with sterling silver findings, and embellished with freshwater pearls, Austrian crystals and glass seed beads.
