Mandy Munroe

Mandy Munroe is a textile artist specialising in contemporary wall pieces.

Engaged primarily on commission, she has over 10 years experience in creating textile works of art. Her style has been described as bold, geometric, abstract and architectural. Most pieces are made from hand dyed or commercially printed cotton, although silk, organza and found objects are sometimes used. Each piece is designed exclusively for the commissioning client. Mandy' work can be found in private collections in the UK, Europe and the US.

Mandy is a member of Ashford Visual Artists, an association dedicated to raising awareness of local arts culture, and she was Chairman of South East Open Studios 2004.
